The Dyno Laboratory Mill KDL consists of a horizontal agitator and container for continuos and batch-wise milling of cells. The rotation speed can be adjusted to 2000, 3000, 4500 or 6000 rpm. Glass and stainless steel jacketed containers, 100 (only batch) and 600 ml volume, respectively, are available. Beads in the range of 0.1 to 1.5 mm can be used and are retained in the container by a dynamic slit separator. Typically E. coli is disintegrated at a flow of 5 litres/h.
