The Bioprocess Pilot Plant facility at the Department
of Biotechnology at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm
was completed in September 2002 in collaboration with the Swedish
Centre for Bioprocess Technology (CBioPT).
Major equipment included in the Pilot Plant are bioreactors up to
600 L scale, centrifugal separators, high pressure homogenisers,
aqueous two-phase extraction system, and tangential-flow filtration
systems. |
