The BTPX 205 (Alfa-Laval AB) is a solids ejecting, continuously operating centrifuge for liquid /solid as well as liquid/liquid/solid separation. The bowl speed is variable between 7200 - 9630 rpm (max RCF 12800). The bowl volume is 3.1 litres with a solids space of 1.2 litres. Typical harvest capacity for E. coli is 100 - 200 litres/h. The separator and the auxiliary equipment are supervised by a control system allowing various sequences to be run automatically, e.g. the discharge of solids at adjustable time intervals. Remote control and data logging is possible by interfacing with external equipment.

The LAPX 202 (Alfa-Laval AB) is a solids ejecting, continuously operating centrifuge for liquid /solid as well as liquid/liquid/solid separation. The bowl speed is variable between 3500 - 10000 rpm (max RCF 8200). The bowl volume is 0.35 litres with a solids space of 0.12 litres. Typical harvest capacity for E. coli is 20 - 30 litres/h. Except the motor control, the centrifuge is manually operated without any data logging.
